New Santa Monica post facility New Hat has ordered five imageMill image enhancement tools from Cintel International.
New Hat was established by renowned Colourists Bob Festa and Clark Muller as well as Editor Darby Walker.
The five imageMill units ordered by New Hat all feature GRACE noise and grain management tools and one unit is additionally configured with the worlds first post production quality, real time image stabilizer STEADY.
GRACE and STEADY will be incorporated into the real time 2K and 4K workflow featuring Spirit 4K film scanners and Pandora Revolution Color Correctors.
Award-winning Colorist Bob Festa said “The spatial and recursive tools available in GRACE give us everything we need for precise grain management at all resolutions. Additionally, STEADY provides quite amazing image stabilization performance.”
