RUSHES’ ADRIAN SEERY SCOOPS TOP COLOUR AWARD WITH CINTEL’S C-REALITY
Date: 24th October 2008
Rushes’ Colourist Adrian Seery won the award for ‘Best Telecine in a Music Video’ at the UK Music Video Awards held at the Odeon West End in Leicester Square, earlier this month.
Adrian scooped the top prize for his grade of KT Tunstall’s “If Only” video for Director James Caddick and Producer Tom Shard at Amarillo Films. The winning music video was graded on Cintel’s C-Reality.
Also nominated in the ‘Best Telecine in a Video Category’ were Simone Grattarola for his work on The Hoosier’s “Worried About Ray” and Marcus Timpson for the Nine Black Alps track “Bitter End”, an amazing three nominations for Rushes.
Adrian comments, “The challenge of the job was to be able to mix the new and original footage seamlessly and the pleasure lay in the fact that my input on the job was sitting side by side with footage shot by the great Werner Herzog.”
Joce Capper, Managing Director at Rushes adds, “Congratulations to Adrian, it really is well deserved. We all know how brilliant he is! And congratulations of course to Simone and Marcus – we are so proud of the Rushes’ Telecine department. To have three nominated colourists is excellent.”
Cintel’s Business Development Manager, Simon Clark, offered his additional congratulations, “The team at Rushes continually output a fantastic level of quality work and we are especially proud that this latest Award was produced, in part, using our C-Reality telecine. Congratulations!”
