ImageMill Steadies the Australian Archives

The National Film and Sound Archives (NFSA) have become the first Australian user of Cintel’s impressive ImageMill image stabilisation system. Based in Canberra, the Archive preserves and shares Australia's moving images and sound recordings from the first film images to the modern classics.
Following extensive evaluation, the ImageMill STEADY was purchased from Cintel’s Australian distributor, Quinto Communications, to enhance the transfer of the NFSA film and video material.
The ImageMill STEADY, image stabilisation system, is capable of operating in SD, HD or Data , whilst Cintel’s other software applications such as GRACE, the noise and grain reduction system, are capable of running on the same hardware platform.
